Wiltshire CCC lose second Unicorns County Championship match of season

Wiltshire lost their second consecutive match in the Unicorns County Championship, Western Division, when they lost by 75 runs to Berkshire at Corsham on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday. 

Berkshire won the toss and chose to bat  and scored 296 (Waqar Hussein 53 and Stewart Davison 63) being all out in the 90th over. For Wiltshire Tahir Afridi took 3 for 50 and Ed Young 3 for 63.  By close of the first day Wiltshire were 87 for 2 wickets.  The second day saw Wiltshire all out for 266 in 59 overs.  Neil Clark scored 54 and Tahir Afridi 77 off 66 balls.  Mungo Russell took 5 for 81 and Chris Peploe 3 for 62.  Berkshire 's second innings saw them all out for 163.  Luke Evans took 4 for 51 and Ryan Murray 4 for 47.  This meant Wiltshire had 24 overs and the whole of the 3rd day to score 194 to win and were 40 for 3 wickets overnight.  The third day saw Wiltshire all out for 118 and so Berkshire won by 75 runs.  Will Wade scored 32 and Jack Mynott 39 not out.  Chris Peploe took 5 for 18 off 19 overs.
