Introducing the NCCA - Faster, more exciting, more opportunity

Wiltshire Cricket is excited to announce the official re-brand and launch of the NCCA, formerly known as the MCCA. The NCCA represent all 20 national counties in the cricketing pathway, sitting beneath England and Wales’ first-class game

Having recently undergone a re-brand, the NCCA have also taken the opportunity to review the format of the games in order to bring more pace, more opportunity and more excitement for our players and spectators. The transformation will see less 3-day championship games and more T20 and 50-over trophy games.

There will be greater opportunities for younger players to get involved and represent their county, as well as a fixtures list designed to avoid clashes with the 2nd X1 games, opening up more opportunities for talented players trying to break into the first-class game.

We are really thrilled to see these changes and look forward to the starting the season once life resumes back to some form of ‘normal’. In the meantime, we will be working with the NCCA to bring you plenty of fun #CricketatHome videos, drills and ideas to help you improve your game, as well as player interviews and more.
