Wiltshire CCC suffer defeat in Marlborough Cup against Berkshire
Sunday 10th April saw the 2022 Marlborough Cup competed across two T20 fixtures against Berkshire CCC at the Tidworth Cricket Ground. Unfortunately two defeats for Wiltshire resulted in the Cup being retained by Berkshire.
In game one, Berkshire batted first and were well restricted by Wiltshire; posting 118-9 from their 20 overs thanks to 38 from Euan Woods. For Wiltshire, there were 4 wickets for Ben Huntley and 2 wickets for Ed Young. In reply though, it was only Jake Lintott for Wiltshire who managed to reach double figures, scoring 57 out of a Wiltshire total of 94 all out inside 17 overs.

Game two saw Wiltshire bat first, but again the batting struggled. This time just two managed double figures as Ben Draper (39) and Jake Lintott (23) helped Wiltshire to 99-8 from their 20 overs. In reply, Berkshire raced to their target inside 9 overs for the loss of just 2 wickets.
