Dorset won the toss and declared at 261-9 after 77 overs. Will Tripcony made 63 and Finn Gordon 40 and with the score at 169 the innings was dominated by Joe Eckland who made a brilliant 121 adding 92 for the 8th and 9th wickets and when he was 9th out Dorset declared.
Wiltshire started badly and at close of play after 29 overs were 70-5 with the not out batters Jake Goodwin and Chris Aubrey.
With no play on the Monday play started at 1200 on the Tuesday. Jake and Chris started carefully and the partnership blossomed and when Wadworth Player of the match Jake Goodwin was finally out they had put on 123 for the 6th wicket with his score of 83 off 259 balls. Chris was then out for 70 off 152 balls which left Will Naish (53 n o and Stan Brown 30 n o) to put on 65 in the last 7 overs when the innings closed after 90 overs on 298-7.
Dorset had 16 overs left in the match and scored 92 without loss Jacob Gordon 62 n o.
